Data Retention
While Sakai is no longer available to users, Canvas at Duke administrators are retaining Sakai records for a period of five years after the completion of the term a course took place in Sakai as dictated by university policy. Courses older than five years old will be permanently deleted by the vendor.

If you were the official instructor of record of a course that is still within the data retention period and you would like to reuse content in an upcoming course in Canvas, you may submit a migration request using this form.
